OBUMWE MICROFINANCE Limited is a trusted and reputable organization regulated by the Uganda Microfinance Authority of Uganda (UMRA) having been registered officially in 2016 to conduct financial services business. OBUMWE MICROFINANCE Limited specializes in providing financial services to Micro, Small and Medium enterprises nationwide including individuals. We offer financial services as per the regulatory requirements. The primary focus is to provide holistic financial solutions and improve the livelihood of our customers through interactions on the various platforms that we have provided.
We are able to serve over 1,000 active customersvia the branch network and we are exploring other avenues like WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram and others to reach more potential customers that have been left on the peripheral by other financial services providers. We aim to reach out to the Youth and women so they can achieve financial independence. OBUMWE MICROFINANCE Limited delivers financial services that provide financial and social impact to our clients through our core financial products in individual lending and business lending. OBUMWE MICROFINANCE Limited has since 2016 disbursed over 1,000 business and agribusiness loans across different locations in Uganda.
Since its inception in Uganda in 2016, Obumwe Microfinance has evolved to become one of the country’s leading financial services provider with coverage in Kampala, Wakiso, Mukono, Mpigi, Jinja and with plans of expanding to other regions of Uganda. It functions as a catalyst, opening up a slew of possibilities for those living in poverty to realize their full potential and change their life. Obumwe Microfinance specializes in taking an idea, putting it to the test, improving it, and then swiftly scaling it up without sacrificing quality. We believe with our approach to customer centric products and with the understanding that majority of the population have ideas but at times luck the financial push to set their ideas developing into important businesses, we have been able to bridge this gap with our carefully developed products that should support any individual and business to reach their full potential.
Our financial services aim to ultimately provide interventions aimedat creating significant, holistic development through economic and social programs that assist children, women, teenagers, the elderly, and people with disabilities in realizing their full potential through the financial services that we provide. In all of our actions, we prioritize the equal opportunity for everyone but more importantly we strive to look out for the youth and women that have for long been excluded from the financial sphere.
